I am thoroughly relieved. My visit was calming and cathartic. I’ve been let down by providers so many times throughout my life. I was shown empathy and attention during my visit here.

…makes every patient feel truly valued.

Why Still Waters?

Still Waters is an independent, clinician-owned practice providing psychiatric mental-health care for children, adolescents, and adults. We emphasize thorough evaluation, shared decision-making, and treatment plans that reflect each patient’s symptoms, history, medical needs, values, and goals.

In-person visits are available in Clearfield, with telehealth offered throughout Pennsylvania when clinically appropriate.

A More Thoughtful Approach to Mental Health

✓ Comprehensive evaluation by board-certified psychiatric mental-health nurse practitioners
✓ Specialized evaluation and treatment of ADHD
✓ Treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, sleep-related concerns, and other appropriate conditions
✓ Attention to overlapping medical, hormonal, nutritional, sleep-related, and medication-related factors
✓ Medication considered as one treatment option rather than the automatic answer
✓ Supportive interventions informed by CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, and practical skill-building
✓ Autism screening and referral recommendations when appropriate; Still Waters does not provide formal autism evaluations
✓ Referral to a counselor, psychologist, or higher level of care when ongoing psychotherapy, psychological testing, or more intensive treatment is needed

Still Waters does not currently provide traditional weekly psychotherapy. Supportive psychotherapy-informed interventions may be incorporated into psychiatric visits when clinically appropriate.
